THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AND PRESERVE AND PROTECT HEALTH AMONGST PERSONS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES OR MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS WHETHER BY THE PROVISION OF RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION FOR SUCH PERSONS (WHETHER WITHIN THE BRITISH ISLES OR ELSEWHERE) OR BY SUCH OTHER MEANS AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT.
