Charitable objects
3.1 TO PROMOTE HUMAN RIGHTS FOR ACCOMPANIED SPOUSES, MIGRANTS WORKERS AND THEIR FAMILIES (DEFINITION AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS, THE UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION ON THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF MIGRANTS WORKERS AND WOMEN’S RIGHTS), AROUND THE WORLD, BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ADVICE TO GOVERNMENT AND OTHERS ON HUMAN RIGHTS MATTERS IN THE FIELD OF INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION TO PROMOTE RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS OF MIGRANT WORKERS AMONGST INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS TO CHALLENGE EXPLOITATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS OF MIGRANT WORKERS BY INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS PROMOTE POPULAR SUPPORT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN COMMUNITIES IN THE UK AND ABROAD, IN ORDER TO REDUCE DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE, GENDER, DISABILITY, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR RELIGION TO EDUCATE MIGRANT WORKERS, TRAILING SPOUSE AND THEIR FAMILIES ABOUT THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS 3.2 TO PREVENT AND RELIEVE POVERTY RESULTING FROM, AN UNSUCCESSFUL INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNMENT IN THE UK OR ABROAD 3.3 TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION OF MENTAL HEALTH AND ASSIST IN RELIEVING PERSONS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM MENTAL DISORDERS OR CONDITIONS OF EMOTIONAL OR MENTAL DISTRESS RELATED TO THE PROCESS OF MIGRATION OR ACCULTURATION. IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTIVES BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE THE POWER; TO ENGAGE IN POLITICAL ACTIVITY PROVIDED THAT THE TRUSTEES ARE SATISFIED THAT THE PROPOSED ACTIVITIES WILL FURTHER THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY TO AN EXTENT JUSTIFIED BY THE RESOURCES COMMITTED AND THE ACTIVITY IS NOT THE DOMINANT MEANS BY WHICH THE CHARITY CARRIES OUT ITS OBJECTS.
