Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH AMONG COMBAT VETERANS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM PHYSICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH DISABILITIES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING THEM WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO REHABILITATE USING THE ARTS AS A MEDIUM. 2) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY: A) PROVIDING COMBAT VETERANS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECOUNT THEIR SERVICE IN CONTEMPORARY CONFLICTS TO HELP THE WIDER COMMUNITY UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE DIFFICULTIES AND ISSUES THAT CAN BE FACED BY THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED IN COMBAT; AND B) COLLECTING AND PRESERVING THE PERSONAL ACCOUNTS OF RECENT COMBAT VETERANS AND MAKING THEM ACCESSIBLE SO THAT FUTURE GENERATIONS MAY HEAR DIRECTLY FROM THOSE WHO SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES AND BETTER UNDERSTAND THE REALITIES OF WAR AND ITS IMPACT ON SOCIETY. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE “THE ARTS” SHALL INCLUDE WRITTEN, VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS AND “COMBAT VETERAN” SHALL INCLUDE ANY PERSON WHO HAS SEEN ACTIVE SERVICE IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN.
