THE FRIENDS IS ESTABLISHED TO ASSIST IN THE MAINTENANCE, PRESERVATION AND REPAIR OF THE FABRIC (BUT NOT THE MOVEABLE OBJECTS) OF THE CHURCH OF ST. MARYÆS CHARTHAM IN THE DIOCESE OF CANTERBURY AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT IT AS A PLACE OF CHRISTIAN WORSHIP.
