Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF SOUTH BANK, REDCAR, CLEVELAND AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS INCLUDING TEES VALLEY AS A WHOLE (“THE AREA OF BENEFIT”): 1) TO ADVANCE ISLAM FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES, PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS, PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON ISLAM TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE ISLAMIC FAITH. 2) TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINION BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE LOCAL AUTHORITY, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROMOTE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY ISLAMIC CULTURAL EDUCATION AND ACTIVITIES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF THE LIFE OF THE SAME INHABITANTS.
