Activities - how the charity spends its money
SS2to are based in West Cumbria. We use learning activities to help identify and work on areas which inhibit people with learning disabilities/difficulties to fully participate in society. We support participants, through learning schemes, to cope with real life situations that cause social exclusiion. Also developing self esteem, respect, emotional wellbeing, value and acceptance.

Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN ALLERDALE AND COPELAND WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR LEARNING DISABILITY/DIFFICULTY, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BY: 1. RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ISSUES AFFECTING PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES/DIFFICULTIES, BOTH GENERALLY AND IN RELATION TO THEIR SOCIAL EXCLUSION; 2. PROVIDING WORKSHOPS, FORUMS, ADVOCACY AND GENERAL SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES/DIFFICULTIES, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS; 3. PROVIDING RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES/DIFFICULTIES.
