THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE PRESERVATION OF THE MANOR HOUSE IN SOLIHULL, WEST MIDLANDS WITH ITS ANCILLARY BUILDINGS AND GARDENS, AS A BUILDING OF HISTORIC AND NATURAL BEAUTY FOR THE BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT OF INHABITANTS OF SOLIHULL AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY COHESION.
