THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE BENEFIT IF THE INHABITANTS OF STOCKPORT AND SURROUNDING AREA BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING CRICKET AND OTHER AMATEUR SPORTS.
