1. TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 18 LIVING IN ENGLAND BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF: (A) ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS; (B) ADVANCING EDUCATION; (C) RELIEVING UNEMPLOYMENT; 2. TO PROVIDE THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG PEOPLE LIVING OR WORKING IN ENGLAND BY PROVIDING SUCH PERSONS WITH SERVICES WHICH THEY COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THROUGH LACK OF MEANS, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE PROVISION OF: A)EDUCATIONAL TUTORING IN A RANGE OF SUBJECTS B)OTHER ADVICE AND SUPPORT THAT ENABLES THEM TO DEVELOP INTELLECTUAL SKILLS, AND SELF BELIEF IN THEIR ABILITIES.
