TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING OR WHO ARE AT RISK OF SUFFERING FROM MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES OR ADDICTIONS, BY THE PROVISION OF SUCH SUPPORT AS SHALL BE THOUGHT FIT BASED ON CHRISTIAN VALUES AND ETHOS INCLUDING TRAINING FOR CHURCHES TO HELP THEM PROVIDE SUPPORT AND UNDERSTANDING OF ISSUES FACED BY PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES OR ADDICTIONS WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THEIR SUPPORT FOR SUCH PEOPLE.
