Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE PRESERVATION OF BUILDINGS IN THE TOWN OF BLANDFORD FORUM AND ADJOINING PARISHES WHICH ARE OF HISTORIC OR ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST AND WHICH ARE AT RISK, BY:- (1) COMPILING, MAINTAINING AND PUBLICISING A REGISTER OF SUCH BUILDINGS; (2) EDUCATING THE OWNERS OF SUCH BUILDINGS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THEIR MAINTENANCE AND PRESERVATION; AND (3) WORKING WITH THE LOCAL AUTHORITY TO IDENTIFY AND PROPOSE OPTIONS IN RESPECT OF SUCH BUILDINGS TO SECURE THEIR RENOVATION, RE-USE AND LONG TERM PRESERVATION.
