The RL Charitable Trust is primarily focused on improving the conditions and future prospects of disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people under the age of 25. The Trust prioritises grant-making to organisations local to London, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, as well as UK charities working in Southern Africa, but will consider worthy recipients beyond these regions.

SUCH OF THE FOLLOWING CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DECIDE: 3.1 THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS OF YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS. 3.2 THE ADVANCEMENT IN LIFE OF YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS TO HELP THEM PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. 3.3 THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS. 3.4 ANY OTHER PURPOSE RECOGNISED AS CHARITABLE IN LAW, WHICH MAY BE REGARDED AS ANALOGOUS TO, OR WITHIN THE SPIRIT OF THE AFORESAID PURPOSES.
