Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Scheme helps children with Additional Needs to attend a Pre-School Setting locally, in the County Borough of Conwy. It helps to integrate pre-school children with Additional Needs with their peers. The Scheme employs a coordinator who offers help, advice and support to the Pre-school setting and family. The scheme can also provide a grant to help pay for additional support in the setting.

TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN IN CONWY WHO EXPERIENCE THE EFFECTS OF POVERTY/DEPRIVATION, WHO ARE EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, DUE TO POOR EDUCATIONAL SKILLS ATTAINMENT, AND /OR DISABILITY, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH CHILDREN AND TO ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BY: 1.PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO PRE-SCHOOL SETTINGS IN CONWY TO ENABLE THEM TO INCLUDE SUCH CHILDREN IN THE GROUPS; 2.PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO PRE-SCHOOL SETTINGS IN CONWY TO EMPLOY ADDITIONAL SUPPORT WORKERS TO ASSIST SUCH CHILDREN; 3.RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ISSUES AFFECTING CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES AND ADDITIONAL NEEDS, AND THEIR FAMILIES; 4.PROVIDING WORKSHOPS, TRAINING AND GENERAL SUPPORT TO PRE-SCHOOL SETTINGS AND PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN IN CONWY.
