THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF ADULTS AND CHILDREN WITH DOWN’S SYNDROME, THEIR PARENTS AND CARERS LIVING IN THE CUMBRIA AREA, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING SUPPORT, CREATING AND DEVELOPING CONDITIONS WHICH WILL ENABLE PEOPLE WITH DOWN'S SYNDROME TO ATTAIN THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AND TO UNDERTAKE ANY OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES IN CONNECTION WITH DOWN'S SYNDROME.
