THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS, TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: 4.1. THE PROVISION OF CHRISTIAN DISCIPLING RESOURCES AND TRAINING; 4.2. SUPPORTING CHRISTIAN PEOPLE TO LIVE OUT THEIR CHRISTIAN FAITH IN PRACTICAL WITNESS AND SERVICE FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL IN THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES; 4.3. PROVIDING MENTORING; 4.4. PROVIDING LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR CLERGY AND OTHERS; 4.5. PROVIDING CHRISTIAN PUBLIC WORSHIP PARTICULARLY FOR A NON-BOOK CULTURE; 4.6. THE ONGOING DEVELOPMENT OF CHRISTIAN RESOURCES FOR USE BY ADULTS, CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE; 4.7. THE DEVELOPMENT OF MUSIC AND HYMNS FOR CHRISTIAN PUBLIC WORSHIP; AND 4.8. STIMULATING DEVELOPMENT OF CHRISTIAN DISCIPLESHIP IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS.
