We build relationships with young people that have positive impacts on their self esteem, leadership and independence, improving communication, creativity and problem solving, raising their voice and helping them understand their impact on others.

Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS (THE OBJECTS) ARE: 4(1) TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 25 YEARS LIVING IN GLOUCESTERSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT: (A) PROVIDE RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE (B) SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS (C) HELP THEM, ESPECIALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY (D) RELIEVE UNEMPLOYMENT 4(2) TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES WITHIN GLOUCESTERSHIRE IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY AS MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITY. 4(3) THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY: (A) THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE, GENDER, DISABILITY , SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR RELIGION (B) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING YOUNG PEOPLEÆS AWARENESS OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY (C) PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS 4(4) THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONGST YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 25 YEARS WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED BY PROVIDING THEM WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO BUILD CAPACITY BY ESTABLISHING PROJECTS THAT ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. 4(5) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF YOUTH WORK BY PROVIDING TRAINING COURSES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF WITHIN COMMUNITIES.
