THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE ARTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, CHORAL AND CLASSICAL MUSIC AND LOCAL VISUAL ARTS, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) THE RUNNING OF MUSICAL ACTIVITIES AND WORKSHOPS, THE PROVISION OF A COMMUNITY ARTS SPACE AND ARTISTIC RESEARCH.
