TO PROMOTE THE PROTECTION OF ADULTS AND CHILDREN WHO HAVE SUFFERED OR ARE SUFFERING FROM OR HAVE BEEN OR ARE EXPOSED TO DOMESTIC ABUSE BY SUCH MEANS AS ARE CHARITABLE INCLUDING (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) THE PRESERVATION OF THEIR MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH, THE RELIEF OF NEED AND THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION CONCERNING DOMESTIC ABUSE.
