THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE HUMAN RIGHTS (AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND SUBSEQUENT UNITED NATIONS CONVENTIONS AND DECLARATIONS) THROUGHOUT THE WORLD IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE PREVENTION OF MODERN SLAVERY INCLUDING HUMAN TRAFFICKING BY: 1) RAISING AWARENESS OF MODERN SLAVERY; 2) PROMOTING PUBLIC SUPPORT FOR THE PREVENTION OF MODERN SLAVERY; 3)OFFERING TRAINING AND EDUCATION ON MODERN SLAVERY; 4) CONDUCTING RESEARCH INTO MODERN SLAVERY; 5) RELIEVING NEED AMONG THE VICTIMS OF MODERN SLAVERY; 6) RAISING FUNDS TO BE USED IN THE RELIEF AND PREVENTION OF MODERN SLAVERY
