Charitable objects
THE OBJECTIVE OF AMPUTATION FOUNDATION CIO IS; THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AMONGST AMPUTEES OR PEOPLE WITH LIMB IMPAIRMENTS WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF THEIR DISABILITY BY PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TOWARDS EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, SPORT AND HOBBIES TO HELP THEM WITH THEIR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, SELF CONFIDENCE AND SELF-ESTEEM TO ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
