THE COMMEMORATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF THE THE CONTRIBUTION TO THE COUNTRY MADE BY MILITARY WORKING DOGS DURING TIMES OF PEACE AND WAR AND TO COMMEMORATE MILITARY WORKING DOGS WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY DURING THE FIRST WORLD WAR AND SUBSEQUENT CONFLICTS BY ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING A PUBLIC STATUE.
