Formulating a plan to hold a reunion of aged miners and families to replace a the space vacated by another charity. Reunion been organised for younger ex miner. Establish fund to erect a permanent memorial to the miners of Dinnington. Assisting ex miners and families in hard times. Help given to members of general public in certain circumstances.

Charitable objects
(1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF DINNINGTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA ('THE AREA OF BENEFIT') THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS BY ESTABLISHING, OR SECURING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF, A PERMANENT MEMORIAL PARK TO THE MINERS OF DINNINGTON. (2) THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE FORMER EMPLOYEES OF DINNINGTON COLLIERY AND THEIR DEPENDENTS, WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED OR INFIRM BY RELIEVING THEIR SUFFERING OR ASSISTING THEIR RECOVERY. IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY, THE MAKING OF GRANTS, PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES AND MAKING GRANTS TO OTHER PERSONS OR BODIES WHO PROVIDE GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES TO THOSE ELIGIBLE FOR ASSISTANCE. IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES THE TRUSTEES MAY DECIDE TO ASSIST PERSONS (WHO MUST OTHERWISE BE QUALIFIED) WHO IS RESIDENT OUTSIDE OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT OR ONLY TEMPORARILY RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
