THE OBJECTIVE OF THE CIO IS THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING FUNDING, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR SUCH OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY AS SHALL BE CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES.
