THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND PRESERVATION OF GOOD HEALTH IN AND AROUND THE TOWN OF ABINGDON BY HELPING THE COMMUNITY GROUPS IN THE AREA TO COLLABORATE WITH EACH OTHER AND WITH THE NHS, OTHER STATUTORY ORGANISATIONS, EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS, BUSINESSES AND OTHER APPROPRIATE GROUPS OR INDIVIDUALS.
