Charitable objects
THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THOSE WHO HAVE A DISABILITY ON KOH DACH ISLAND, PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA, WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF THEIR DISABILITY BY: - THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION BY PROMOTING AND FACILITATING COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND EDUCATION; AND - PROMOTING BASIC HEALTHCARE AND WELLBEING BY THROUGH ADVOCACY AND TRAINING LOCAL PEOPLE IN PHYSIOTHERAPY AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SO THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO CARE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES WITHIN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES SUSTAINABLY. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
