THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAPHY, AND IN PARTICULAR THAT RELATING TO W. W. WINTER LTD., THE CITY OF DERBY AND THE EAST MIDLANDS, IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY ANY MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING THROUGH: THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC MEETINGS AND LECTURES; THE DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE THROUGH APPROPRIATE PUBLICATIONS; FINANCIAL AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT FOR THE W.W. WINTER COLLECTION TRUST; AND SUPPORT TO MANAGE, CARE FOR, MAKE ACCESSIBLE AND DEVELOP THE COLLECTION.
