Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF FRIENDS OF SEND ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS AT SEND TO LEARN NURSERY BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES TO ENABLE THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHILDREN WITHIN THE SETTING. TO PROVIDE TRAINING (INCLUDING VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND LIFE-LONG LEARNING) IN THE FORM OF COMMUNITY EDUCATION BY DELIVERING WORKSHOPS, COURSES, PARENT GROUPS, NETWORKING EVENTS, AND PARENTAL SUPPORT TO SEND TO LEARN NURSERY FAMILIES AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY IN THE NORTHUMBERLAND AND TYNESIDE AREAS. THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF DISABILITY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SPECIALIST ADVICE, EQUIPMENT AND PROVIDING ACCESS FOR DISABLED CHILDREN VIA SEND TO LEARN NURSERY. THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF DISABILITY BY RAISING AWARENESS WITHIN THE LOCAL AND WIDER COMMUNITY OF THE ISSUES THEY FACE AND HOW THEY CAN BE SUPPORTED. THIS MEANS TO PROMOTE, SUSTAIN AND INCREASE INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF DISABILITY AWARENESS. THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES, COMPETENCES, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING OF PARENTS, CARERS, FAMILIES AND CHILDREN WITHIN THE SEND TO LEARN NURSERY SETTING BY PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL INCLUSIVE NURSERY EDUCATION, IN A FRIENDLY CHILD-CENTRED ENVIRONMENT.
