Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: TO ASSIST PERSONS WHO HAVE SERVED OR WHO ARE CURRENTLY SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES (BEING UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE COMMANDER OF HER MAJESTY'S ARMED FORCES), AND THEIR FAMILY AND DEPENDENTS, BY ADVANCING ANY LAWFUL CHARITABLE PURPOSE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES, AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY: A: THE RELIEF OF THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL SICKNESS OF PERSONS IN NEED OF TREATMENT OR CARE BY REASON OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA SUFFERED BY INJURY OR OTHERWISE AFFECTED WHILST SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES (DEFINED ABOVE), IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES, AND THROUGH TREATMENT BY THE USE OF PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC THERAPIES, COUNSELLING AND RELATED SUPPORT. B: THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP TO SUCH PERSONS BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO THOSE WHO, THROUGH LACK OF MEANS, WOULD OTHERWISE BY UNABLE TO OBTAIN SUCH SUPPORT, ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE. C: TO RELIEVE THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL SICKNESS OF PERSONS, WHO WERE DEPENDENTS AND/OR RELATIVES OF THOSE KILLED WHILST SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES (AS DEFINED ABOVE), SUFFERING FROM BEREAVEMENT OR LOSS BY THE PROVISION OF PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC THERAPIES, COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT FOR SUCH PERSONS.
