WEFA: WATER AND EDUCATION FOR AFRICA
Charity overview
Activities - how the charity spends its money
WEFA aims to drill at least one borehole per year in drought-stricken communities in Zimbabwe. This is financed by raising funds in local communities and parishes in England and Wales. The gift of water significantly decreases malnutrition and water-borne diseases while empowering local communities to cultivate crops. We educate communities regularly on hygiene and nutrition issues.
