MERSEYSIDE SUDANESE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION serves all parts of the diaspora Sudanese community in Liverpool and its region. We provide premises for meetings, celebrations and activities. We are focussing on the needs of our children & young people, and women within our community. We run education classes for our schoolchildren and a meeting space for women, as well as men.

Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN LIVERPOOL CITY REGION AREA WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN, RELIGION, BELIEF OR CREED (IN PARTICULAR, MEMBERS OF THE SUDANESE COMMUNITY) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BY: 1. PROVIDING A LOCAL NETWORK GROUP THAT ENCOURAGES AND ENABLES MEMBERS OF THE SUDANESE COMMUNITY TO PARTICIPATE MORE EFFECTIVELY WITH EACH OTHER AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY; 2. PROVIDING OR ARRANGING PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND CLASSES IN ESOL AND OTHER LANGUAGES WHICH ENABLE THE SUDANESE COMMUNITY TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY 3. PROVIDING HELP AND SUPPORT FOR THE RELIEF OF REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS FROM SUDAN WHO ARE RESIDENT OR INTENDING TO RESIDE IN THE LIVERPOOL CITY REGION AREA BY KEEPING AND MAKING AVAILABLE TO SUCH PERSONS LITERATURE, LEAFLETS, INFORMATION AND CONTACT DETAILS FOR ORGANISATIONS/AGENCIES THAT CAN SUPPORT WITH ISSUES SUCH AS ASYLUM, IMMIGRATION, WELFARE BENEFITS, HOUSING, HEALTH, EDUCATION TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT. 4. DO ALL SUCH LAWFUL THINGS THAT MAY FURTHER THE CHARITIES OBJECTS
