Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHARITABLE WORKS FOR THE TIME BEING CARRIED ON PROMOTED OR SUPPORTED BY THE SOCIETY OF THE SISTERS OF CHRIST AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME, WITH THE CONSENT OF THE SUPERIOR GENERAL, THINK FIT PROVIDED THAT IF AT ANY TIME THE SOCIETY SHALL CEASE TO EXIST, OR TO CARRY ON PROMOTE OR SUPPORT ANY CHARITABLE WORKS, IT SHALL ADVANCE SUCH GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR DISCRETION THINK FIT.
