We are a midwifery organisation offering support & training to midwives and other clinicians involved in maternity services, neonatal & women's health in the Hoima & Kikuube Districts of Uganda. We manage two rural clinics providing 24/7 maternity services; have a vehicle for emergency referrals; & work closely with our partners at Azur Health Centre, a non-governmental, not for profit hospital.

TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE GOOD HEALTH OF PEOPLE IN HOIMA, UGANDA IN RELATION TO MATERNITY CARE, WOMEN’S HEALTH AND SEXUAL HEALTH IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: A) PROVIDING SUPPORT TO THE AZUR CHRISTIAN CLINIC IN HOIMA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA; B) PROVIDING TRAINING, MENTORING, KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER AND SUPPORT TO HEALTHCARE WORKERS AT CLINIC AND AT HEALTH CENTRES IN THE SURROUNDING AREA; C) PROMOTING GOOD HEALTHCARE PRACTICES AT THE CLINIC AND IN THE SURROUNDING AREA; D) PROVIDING SUCH ITEMS, EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND MATERIALS FOR USE BY STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS AT THE CLINIC AND IN THE COMMUNITY; E) TO RAISE AWARENESS AND PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING IN THE UK, PARTICULARLY AMONGST HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS OF THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES FACED BY HEALTHCARE WORKERS, AND WOMEN AT THE AZUR CHRISTIAN CLINIC AND IN THE COMMUNITY IN THE SURROUNDING AREA IN RELATION TO MATERNITY CARE, WOMAN'S HEALTH, AND SEXUAL HEALTH.
