TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE SUBJECTS OF AGRICULTURAL JOURNALISM AND / OR COMMUNICATION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY:- 1. AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS GRANTS FOR THE PURSUANCE OF EDUCATIONAL COURSES OR TRAINING PROGRAMMES, AND 2. PROVIDING TRAVEL BURSARIES TO ALLOW SUCH PERSONS TO PARTICIPATE IN RELEVANT OVERSEAS PROGRAMMES THAT ARE RECOGNISED BY ANY INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION TO WHICH THE BRITISH GUILD OF AGRICULTURAL JOURNALISTS IS AFFILIATED.
