FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF WILD ANIMALS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO CHARITIES AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHICH PROVIDE ANIMAL SANCTUARIES AND VETERINARY CARE AND TREATMENT TO RELIEVE THEIR SUFFERING AND FOR THE RESCUE AND RE-HOMING OF WILD ANIMALS THAT HAVE BEEN MISTREATED.
