West Berkshire Homeless (Newbury area) works with the homeless or those facing homelessness by helping to obtain accommodation and if possible employment, helping obtain finance to obtain/maintain accommodation, exploring ways of preventing benefit withdrawals that result in homelessness, if required, providing a night shelter during the winter period and working to elevate general poverty.

NIGHT SHELTER ACCOMMODATION FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE IN THE WEST BERKSHIRE/NEWBURY AREA. II. MENTORING TO HOMELESS PEOPLE TO ENABLE THEM TO MOVE INTO ACCOMMODATION AND EMPLOYMENT. III. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE HOMELESS PEOPLE TO OBTAIN/MAINTAIN ACCOMMODATION. IV. EXPLORE WAYS OF PREVENTING BENEFIT WITHDRAWALS THAT RESULT IN HOMELESSNESS.
