Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE AS FOLLOWS:
TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THOSE SUFFERING FROM ALL TYPES OF CANCER, INCLUDING THEIR FAMILIES WITHIN THE UK THROUGH FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO BATTLING THE DISEASE AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES.
NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.
