THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: THE PROMOTION OF THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) FOR PERSONS PARTICULARLY RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF CLIFFORD CHAMBERS AND MILCOTE (THE PARISH) AND WHO IN THE SOLE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. THE TRUSTEES MAY ALSO PROVIDE GRANTS TO AND PROVIDE OR PAY FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES FOR CHARITIES AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN THE PARISH AND ALSO THE LOCAL AUTHORITY AREAS OF STRATFORD UPON AVON DISTRICT COUNCIL AND WARWICK DISTRICT COUNCIL. IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES THE TRUSTEES MAY GRANT RELIEF TO PERSONS OTHERWISE ELIGIBLE THEREFORE WHO ARE RESIDENT IMMEDIATELY OUTSIDE THE PARISH WHO, IN THE SOLE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES, OUGHT NEVERTHELESS FOR SUFFICIENT REASONS TO BE TREATED AS IF RESIDENT WITHIN THE PARISH AND SAID LOCAL AUTHORITY AREAS OR WHO ARE LOCATED THEREIN FOR THE TIME BEING. FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE PARISH AND ONLY ONCE THESE NEEDS HAVE BEEN SATISFIED, IN THE SOLE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES, WILL CONSIDERATION BE EXTENDED TO THE LOCAL AUTHORITY AREAS OF STRATFORD ON AVON DISTRICT COUNCIL AND WARWICK DISTRICT COUNCIL.
