THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION WITHIN THE COMMUNITY OF WIVELISCOMBE AND SURROUNDING VILLAGES BY ENCOURAGING AND FACILITATING THE PRACTICE OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH THROUGH: A). Ò THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A CHURCH BUILDING WITH SPACE FOR WORSHIP AND SERVICES IN WIVELISCOMBE, SOMERSET, ACCESSIBLE AND OPEN TO ALL WHO WISH TO ATTEND. Ò THE PROVISION OF PUBLIC RITUALS AND CEREMONIES SUCH AS BAPTISMS, MARRIAGES AND FUNERALS; Ò THE MAINTENANCE OF THE PUBLIC CHURCHYARD Ò PASSIVE ADVANCEMENT, MEANING LEAVING THE CHURCH OPEN DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS FOR MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES TO ENTER AND BENEFIT FROM PERSONAL, SPIRITUAL CONTEMPLATION Ò CONTRIBUTING TO THE SPIRITUAL AND MORAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN; Ò CARRYING OUT, AS A PRACTICAL EXPRESSION OF RELIGIOUS BELIEFS, OTHER ACTIVITIES (SUCH AS ADVANCING EDUCATION, PROVIDING TRAINING, CONFLICT RESOLUTION, OR RELIEVING POVERTY), WHICH MAY ALSO BE CHARITABLE; B)MISSIONARY AND OUTREACH WORK INCLUDING: THE PROVISION OF PRISON, HOSPITAL, UNIVERSITY Ò THE ENCOURAGEMENT AND SUPPORT OF PASTORAL WORK; Ò CULTURAL AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES PROVIDED EITHER IN THE PLACE OF WORSHIP OR IN THE ROOMS ATTACHED, C).
