Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM BY PROVIDING A TELEPHONE HELPLINE AND WEBSITE TO PROVIDE ADVICE, GUIDANCE, SUPPORT AND INFORMATION TO THEIR FAMILIES/CARERS AND PROFESSIONALS WHO SUPPORT THEM. 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS BY: A) THE PROVISION OF WORKSHOPS FOR PEOPLE ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM, THEIR FAMILIES/CARERS AND PROFESSIONALS WHO SUPPORT THEM OFFERING INFORMATION AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT. B) UNDERTAKING RESEARCH RELEVANT TO THE FIELD OF AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS, THE USEFUL RESULTS OF WHICH WILL BE DISSEMINATED FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
