The Trustees are responsible for the administration of non-public funds to provide benefit for all cadets in the Wing. Activities supported include Corps Sports (athletics, soccer, swimming, cross-country, rugby, netball and hockey), Leadership Courses, Nijmegen Marches, BTEC, Corps Music, Adventurous Training, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Competition Shooting (including Bisley) and Cadet Camps.

"THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE 1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF YOUNG PERSONS IN THE PRINCIPLES OF GOOD CITIZENSHIP AND SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES AND ASSIST THEM TO GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY (ALL OF WHICH YOUNG PERSONS ARE HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "THE CADETS"). 2. IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE CADETS, BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION. 3. OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE AIR TRAINING CORPS IN DURHAM & NORTHUMBERLAND.”
