(2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF AVIATION THROUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A MUSEUM AND PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN THE ISLE OF WIGHT. (3) TO ENCOURAGE AND DEVELOP AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME INCLUDING RESEARCH FACILITIES, AND TO EMBRACE HISTORICAL AVIATION HERITAGE, LINKED TO THE LOCAL AND NATIONAL AEROSPACE INDUSTRY.
