THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC:
TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, ADVICE AND GUIDANCE, WHICH WILL DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES SO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITION OF LIFE AND ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS
