Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1. TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY OR PARTS OF SOCIETY ON THE GROUNDS THAT THEY ARE NEWLY-ARRIVED MIGRANTS TO THE UK, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BY: A) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ADVICE, INCLUDING ADVICE ON HOUSING, WELFARE AND EDUCATION; B) INCREASING, OR CO-ORDINATING, OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE BENEFICIARIES TO ENGAGE WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS, TO ENABLE THOSE PROVIDERS TO ADAPT SERVICES TO BETTER MEET THE NEEDS OF THAT COMMUNITY; C) SUPPORTING THE EDUCATION OF MIGRANT CHILDREN BY PROVIDING HOMEWORK CLUBS 2. TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN LIVING IN SOMALIA, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF BOOKS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS.
