Activities - how the charity spends its money
The charity operates from an apiary in one of the formal gardens at Mt Edgcumbe Country Park, England's first Native Honey Bee Reserve. The conservation programme is used to educate the public about the importance of pollinators and to help beekeepers improve their own stock using best practice guidelines. Activities include open days, demonstrations, courses, citizen science and public events.

THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE CIO IS ESTABLISHED IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC (AND PARTICULARLY AMONGST BEEKEEPERS) ON THE SUBJECT OF NATIVE UK POLLINATORS AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH PLANTS IN OUR ECOSYSTEM, AND TO PROMOTE GOOD PRACTICES IN IMPROVING THE STOCK OF LOCAL HONEYBEES.
