THE OBJECT OF THIS CIO IS TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18 LIVING IN THE UK WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED BEREAVEMENT OR LOSS OF A PARENT / GUARDIAN, BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008]
