3. OBJECTS 3.1 THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, ARE AS FOLLOWS: 3.1.1 TO ADVANCE MEDICAL SCIENCE AND PRACTICE BY UNDERTAKING RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES, OCCURRENCES AND TREATMENTS OF BLOOD CANCER AND BY THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS; AND 3.1.2 THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AMONG BLOOD CANCER PATIENTS, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND, BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND SERVICES FOR PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS.
