THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN AVIATION HISTORY, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, BY OPENING AN INTERACTIVE AND INCLUSIVE MUSEUM BASED PRIMARILY AROUND CIVILIAN AEROPLANES OF VARIOUS WORLDWIDE MANUFACTURERS WITH AS MANY COMPLETE OPERATIONAL OR AIRWORTHY EXAMPLES AS POSSIBLE AT A LOCATION TO BE DETERMINED. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES THAT ARE NOT CHARITABLE.
