Charitable objects
(A) THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF ALMSHOUSES FOR POOR PEOPLE OF THE ANCIENT PARISH OF LONG PRESTON WHICH INCLUDES THE VILLAGES OF LONG PRESTON,HELLIFIELD AND HALTON WEST AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS IN THE ALMSHOUSES.
(B) £20 TO THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL TOWARDS THE MAINTENANCE AND ORNAMENTATION OF THE PARISH CHURCH.
(C) £5 TO A CLERGYMAN OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN HOLY ORDERS FOR PREACHING A SERMON IN THE CHURCH.
(D) £20 TO A CLERGYMAN IN CONSIDERATION OF HIS ACTING AS CHAPLAIN TO THE RESIDENTS IN THE ALMSHOUSES.
