Christchurch has a high proportion of retired men. Many live isolated, lonely and sedentary lives that can lead to depression, obesity and related medical conditions. We provide tools & resources so they can work on hobbies or community projects amongst new-found friends. This helps them stay active and have a sense of purpose. This in turn reduces the burden on the health and social providers.
