Charitable objects
OBJECTS 1) THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: A. THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ISLAMIC FAITH, IN PARTICULAR THE SHIA RAFIDA FAITH AS THE TRUSTEES, WITH THE GUIDANCE OF THE HEAD CLERIC, SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC WORLDWIDE; AND B. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC WORLDWIDE OF THE ISLAMIC FAITH, IN PARTICULAR THE SHIA RAFIDA FAITH AND THE PROMOTION OF INTERRELIGIOUS HARMONY THROUGH DIALOGUE AND COOPERATION WITH OTHER FAITHS AND TRADITIONS. 2) NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
